本課程實驗的目標是學齡前幼兒可以使用蒙特梭利教學及教材來認識傳統及香港在地的「廣東點心」。蒙特梭利課程活動可增加幼兒們對六種廣東點心名字的認識、味道以及盛載點心的「竹蒸籠」。幼兒透過研究者設計的蒙特梭利教材及活動加深幼兒對「廣東點心」的理解和認知。研究者採用前測和後測蒐集研究對象的學習成效。本實驗方案協助幼兒認識六種廣東點心為目標。實驗方案經過三星期的實施後,後測結果顯示實驗方案是頗為成功。30%的幼兒(3位)能認識及命名六種廣東點心。而60%的幼兒(6位)能認識及命名最少五種廣東點心。此外,60% 幼兒(6位)能說出盛載點心的用具是稱為「竹蒸籠」。
