實作課程影響學童對待動物態度之研究

實作課程是十二年國民基本教育課程自然科學領域教與學的重要組成部分。當涉及動物相關的學習內容時，課程規劃上會透過飼養動物和觀察動物的實作活動，使學童瞭解動物、提高科學能力，並且培養正向的對待動物態度，然而，學童雖然從實作活動中獲得了知識和技能，但他們對動物的偏好和態度是否也會有所改善？因此，本研究主要欲瞭解實作課程是否會影響學童對動物的偏好，進而影響其對待動物的態度。本研究於2021年三月至四月依環境教育融入實作課程的規劃，於一所小學的四個四年級班級進行了準實驗研究，先施予前測瞭解學童於教學前對於動物的初始偏好與態度，接著再分別對飼養組與觀察組學童實施環境教育融入實作活動，其中觀察組，僅藉由影

片分別觀察猴子（靈長類動物）、豬（實用動物）、兔子（同伴動物）和菜蟲（害蟲）等四種動物物種，卻無機會與動物進行直接接觸；另一飼養組，以飼養不受偏好的菜蟲（害蟲）進行飼養動物實作活動。最後，在課程實施之後，我們進行了學童對動物的偏好與態度後測。研究結果顯示，將環境教育融入實作課程可以顯著提升學童對動物的偏好和態度；進行飼養動物活動的學童對害蟲的偏好和正向態度顯著高於僅透過影片觀察動物的學童。此外，物種偏好對於學童對待同伴動物與實用動物的態度皆具有顯著影響；但物種偏好對於學童對待害蟲的態度則沒有顯著影響。本研究結果建議教師應多增加與動物接觸的實作課程，將有效培養學童對待動物的正向態度。
