羽絨服為戶外運動服飾之主流商品，羽絨服之機能訴求主要為保暖，近年來並強調羽絨服之輕薄特性。本研究即針對羽絨服表布特性，搭配保暖層素材，以綜合探討上述研究變因對保暖效果之影響。本研究透過實驗方式，針對布料厚薄搭配保暖層的變化，設計共9種試片，經由熱板測試並獲得各試片之熱阻值以及極限溫度等數據，並進行分析。研究結果顯示，布料厚薄影響熱阻值之影響相對較低，熱阻值大約為2至3 m2K/W之間。同時，保暖層填充物之重量為影響熱阻值之主要因素，保暖層重量提高，獲得較高之保暖效果。此外，根據實驗數據，以鴨絨做為填充材質之試片，所獲得保暖效果相較鵝絨較佳，針對鵝絨與鴨絨於暖性效果之議題可以做為後續研究與探討
