若一間學校良好的教室與生活作息空間規劃能有合適的收納櫃、架及空間,讓與幼兒學校生活相關物品的收納位置,在收納上都能看起來更加乾淨清爽,除了幫助幼兒養成良好的生活習慣有所助益外,有秩序感的收納空間對於幼兒學習專注力也會有所提升。對於學生的學習上,學校的收納空間對學生是否足夠,似乎未受到應有重視,本研究希望藉由幼兒園對「收納空間」議題的探討,了解師生對於幼兒園日常教學生活單元內收納空間足夠與否為主題,故為對幼兒收納習慣有進一步研究,研究者選擇台北市萬華區的幼兒園做為研究對象,利用觀察方式調查幼兒園日常教學生活單元其收納空間現況。並藉由訪談了解教師對幼兒園的收納空間需求現況及歸納影響因子,最後依據

研究結果提出教師對幼兒園收納空間的建議。研究結果發現,幼兒園中最需要事先規劃的為書包櫃、鞋櫃、棉被櫃,其中因體積大使用頻率相對高;設置情形分為可移動與不可移動、系統家具及自行添購;各校依班級經營彈性運用的物品收納櫃有水壺櫃、餐袋櫃、安全帽櫃、雨衣雨傘架、牙杯牙刷櫃、教具櫃;影響收納空間相關因子依據收納物品而定,面向分為衛生、安全、美感、尺寸、是否方便拿取、及能否達到生活教育目的作為設計考量點。
