語音是影響溝通的重要因素,透過偏誤分析則能提供教師及學習者了解學習的難點,從而進行有效的補救教學。過去曾有許多研究者重視外籍學生華語語音學習的問題,然而,在許多的語音偏誤分析研究中,未曾關注於眾多以粵語為母語的海外華人,其華語發音情形為何?中介語語音特色為何?是否出現系統性的偏誤情形?產生語音偏誤之原因為何?此為至今仍努力不夠之處,因而值得進行研究。本研究旨在了解以粵語為母語的馬來西亞籍華裔學生華語發音情形及其語音偏誤現象。以中部地區逢甲大學三十三名馬來西亞籍華裔學生為研究對象,研究工具為自編之華語語音聽辨能力測試以及華語發音測試字表,分別進行施測,蒐集語料,採用敘述統計進行資料的分析與描述
