自行車從誕生至今,不但是人們的主要代步交通工具,隨著兩百年來的演化進步,自行車功能與設計也與時俱進。由於消費者對於物質上的要求也越來越高,對於自行車來說舒適度及實用性也更加要求,過去幾年自行車成為人們競賽、運動健身、自我挑戰與休閒旅遊的良伴,更成為了主流的休閒運動之一,外觀與種類也開始百變多元。因此也出現各種客製化的配件,除了坐墊、連桿、鏈條等,紛紛朝向客製化發展,而當然鏈輪也是其中之一。本研究針對不同非圓形鏈盤進行分析,利用Wolfram Mathematica計算並繪製非圓外型,以兩種不同齒數之橢圓形鏈盤相互結合繪製出一個對稱且非圓的齒盤,藉由肌電圖找出大腿及各部位(股直肌、股二頭肌、脛

前肌、外側腓腸肌)肌肉的出力狀況。在本實驗中,利自行車用訓練台可測試在各種阻力作用下,不同非圓形鏈盤騎乘的效率、關節受力…等,亦可經由不同齒型之各項數據找出實驗中最佳的非圓形鏈盤,以得知使用非圓鏈盤時肌肉活化程度較小,表示較為省力。
