本文以迪士尼公主為形象，探討隨社會情境遞移女性髮色及髮長變化所蘊含的潛在意象。在傳統印象中，女性的髮色及髮長時常夾帶性別刻板印象，進而得以加諸女性角色之特定行為與個性;本研究依據不同傳統印象，探討並比較在故事脈絡中迪士尼如何塑造其前後期公主髮式。基本上來說，在前期作品中迪士尼重現舊社會對女性頭髮的印象，但隨時代演進，後期迪士尼公主角色的髮色及髮長不再被傳統觀念侷限。第一章主要探討迪士尼公主們的髮色，藉由回顧金髮、紅髮以及深色髮色的歷史形象來源，檢視不同故事脈絡中，迪士尼公主髮色蘊含之相對性格與特色表徵，並反轉傳統對其髮色形象的固有思維。第二章探討公主們的變髮，藉由解析長髮與短髮的意含，帶出女
