莖、葉及根被用來進行誘導測試，結果顯示葉片為最佳的PLBs誘導培殖體。此外，針對內部因子如不同株高、不同節位上之葉片、葉片不同部位皆被利用為培殖材料進行實驗。結果顯示1‒2 公分的的植株在2 mg/L BA、0.5 mg/L NAA及4 mg/L BA、0.5 mg/L NAA 之組合擁有最佳的PLBs誘導率。而培養於MS (modified MS medium)配方添加4 mg/L BA、0.5 mg/L NAA的葉片成功誘導的PLBs(16.7%)僅在內部葉片(第1至第3片葉)形成。本試驗也將葉片區分為頂部、中部、基部部位進行培養，約18% 1‒2公分高植株的葉片基部培殖體被誘導出PLBs
。另外，試驗顯示植物生長調節劑是有效的外部因子，不同種類及濃度的細胞分裂素在本研究中被使用。葉片培殖體培養於MS配方添加1 mg/L BA或1 mg/L TDZ 16週後的處理擁有最佳的PLBs誘導率 (16.7%) 。而添加4 mg/L BA之處理擁PLBs生成數目達3.0個為最佳。結果顯示不同種類細胞分裂素對PLBs的誘導造成顯著之影響。混合使用BA及NAA的研究中顯示添加NAA能增加PLBs誘導率，經過12週之培養，MS培養基添加4 mg/L BA以及0.5 mg/L NAA的處理擁有28%誘導率為最高。而由組織學切片可看出由葉片培殖體誘導之PLBs並沒有與培殖體具相連之維管束。本研究第
二個目標為PLB增殖與營養芽增殖方法。其中PLB增殖進行三個試驗，分別為PLB的大小、PLB切割型態以及PLB群聚培養數目，其中PLB的大小僅對增殖率有些微的影響。中間尺寸(1‒2 mm)的PLB在培養2-6週時有最佳的效果。而PLB切割型態分為PLB刻傷、切除上部以及切除下部的處理，經過6週的培養後，切除下部的PLB約有40%培殖體能成功進行增殖，而PLB生成數量則為刻傷處理效果最佳達3.5 個PLBs。PLB群聚數目則觀察到增殖率並不高，多數的PLBs形成了莖而不是再增殖新的PLBs。營養芽增殖的方法是利用葉片培養而來的材料，試驗利用不同光強度觀察芽體增殖的影響，經過12週的培養，較高的增

要聚焦在氧化鈦載體上，原位形成結構有序鉑金屬間化合物。透過一個簡單的策略: 使用過硫酸銨（APS）作為氧化劑，經簡單的改質氧化聚合技術，利用聚苯胺在二氧化鈦上均勻沉積Pt。如此，還原TiO2載體和鉑奈米顆粒之間的強金屬載體相互作用（SMSI），方能被適當運用於電催化反應。電化學測量結果顯示，在相同鉑(Pt)載量的情況下，與現今常見的商用Pt/C（JM 20）觸媒相比，負載在氧化物上的鉑催化劑具有更好的催化活性和耐久性。鑒於觸媒表面的活性位址會因為吸附其他分子而導致失活的現象，實驗所觀察到活性和穩定性的提升，可歸因於相鄰鉑原子之間的距離和晶格參數的減小，幫助這些吸附分子容易脫附，釋放更多的活性位
